A house tells you the truth if you know where to look. Behind the fresh paint and the staged furniture there's a story — what was done well, what was hidden, what it'll really cost to make it yours. After two and a half decades in construction and renovation, I can't not see it.
That's why I do this. My favourite part isn't the sale. It's watching a plan on paper turn into the place a family actually grows up in — the reno that finally materializes into someone's dream. I've spent my life turning materials into homes; now I help people make the right call on the biggest one they'll ever own.
I don't do pressure or urgency. The right move is rarely the fastest one — it's the one that protects your money, your timing, and your peace of mind. Sometimes the best advice I give is "not yet," or "don't touch that."
Off the clock you'll find me on a bike, cooking something my family will actually eat, re-reading more Stoicism than is probably healthy, and missing my old pit bull Capone — the coolest dog I ever had.
