A repeating content calendar built on your existing five pillars — BUILD, MARKET, DWELL, MIND, HUMAN — and on the only model a solo agent can actually sustain: think once, publish six times.
The agents who sustain this aren't producing thirty ideas a month. They're producing four, and getting seven posts out of each.
Planning post-by-post fails because it asks you to have a new idea every time you open the app. Planning by anchor asks you for one piece of real thinking a week — the kind you already do in the car after a showing — and then routes it through three platforms in the format each one rewards.
Repurposed content also measurably outperforms one-off posting, because the same message reinforces itself across the places one person already scrolls.
Three to five posts a week, held consistently, beats daily posting for a fortnight followed by silence. This grid is the ceiling, not the floor — if a week goes sideways, protect Tuesday and drop the rest.
| Day | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Mon | — | Stories ×3 — teaser for the week's anchor | — |
| Tue | ANCHOR — full long-form post | — | ANCHOR — professional angle, or PDF document |
| Wed | — | Carousel — 5–7 slides from the anchor + Stories driving to it | — |
| Thu | Light unit — HUMAN / MIND / DWELL | Light unit as a single image or Story set | Second post, or 20 min commenting on others |
| Fri | Follow-up — "what people asked about Tuesday" | Reel — 30–45s talking the anchor through | — |
| Sat | — | Stories — behind the scenes, Capone, a site walk | — |
| Sun | Batch day — 90 minutes. Write next week's anchor, build the carousel, shoot the Reel, schedule everything. This is the only session that requires real thinking. | ||
Everything above is scheduled in one sitting. Daily posting is where consistency dies, because it competes with showings, offers and family. Ninety minutes on Sunday competes with nothing.
If you can only do one thing from this entire document: write Tuesday's anchor on Sunday.
The most common mistake is cross-posting the same consumer content everywhere. It's why most agents' LinkedIn is dead — they're posting first-time-buyer tips to a feed full of other professionals.
Three content units a week × four weeks = twelve slots per cycle. Distributed to your existing mix, that's exactly:
The builder's eye. Cosmetic vs structural, the $500 fix worth $5,000, "don't renovate that." Your unmatched asset.
The honest market. Plain-English TRREB, resale vs preconstruction, sell-first vs buy-first.
Architecture, modern homes, interiors, the philosophy of home.
Discipline, patience as strategy, biking, the long game. Stoicism without ever saying the word.
Family, cooking, Capone, a reno actually materializing. Cheapest to produce, often the best performing.
BUILD carries the most weight because it's the thing no other agent in Halton can credibly post. Anyone can share a market stat. Almost nobody can walk a house and tell you what's cosmetic and what's structural.
Weeks 1–4 are the cycle. Weeks 5–8 repeat the shape with new anchors. The five townhouse posts are already slotted into their pillar positions — one every two weeks, so the series carries a full quarter without ever looking like a campaign.
Ownership structures most buyers never check. Creative is built and ready.
Ships: FB long post Tue · IG carousel Wed (one slide per ownership type) · IG Reel Fri · LI: "what I wish more buyers asked before writing an offer"
Comment CTA. The comments are the qualification — people hand you a budget and a town in public.
Ships: FB Thu · IG carousel — one slide per town · LI skip
The pinned "about me" post. "For 25 years I built other people's homes. Now I help them read the one they're about to buy."
Ships: FB Fri · IG single image + Stories · LI Tue — strongest opener you have on that platform
And two they ignore that do. Photograph five real examples on your next showing round.
Ships: FB Tue · IG carousel Wed · IG Reel Fri · LI PDF document — "a builder's walkthrough checklist"
Genuinely contrarian, genuinely true, and only you can say it with authority.
Ships: FB Thu · IG carousel · LI skip
Buyers who waited and won. Patience as a strategy, not a personality trait.
Ships: IG Stories + single post · LI Thu — this register works well there
Build the closing-cost PDF first. Real Ontario land transfer tax figures, every line item. It becomes the LinkedIn document post too — one asset, two channels.
Ships: FB Tue · IG carousel Wed · IG Reel Fri · LI PDF document Tue
Highest-value post in the series. One conversation produces a listing and a purchase.
Ships: FB Thu · IG carousel — three slides, one per sequence · LI Thu — sequencing is a professional-register topic
Before / during / after on a real project. The thesis in one post: concrete becomes a kitchen.
Ships: IG Reel or carousel · FB Fri · Stories throughout
Seller-facing, and the single most shareable thing you can post.
Ships: FB Tue · IG carousel Wed · IG Reel Fri · LI PDF — "pre-listing prep, by a former builder"
Fill the TRREB placeholders before this ships. Runs monthly from here on as your recurring market slot.
Ships: FB Thu · IG carousel · LI Thu — market data performs well there
Light, ceiling height, sightlines, storage. Architecture as lived experience, not spec sheet.
Ships: IG carousel · FB Fri · LI skip
Weeks 5–8 repeat the shape. Keep BUILD in the Tuesday anchor slot, rotate a fresh MARKET topic on Thursday, and let HUMAN/MIND/DWELL fill the third. The townhouse series is spent by week 4 — replace it with the next series you build, using the same card template.
Ignore followers and likes. They move for reasons unrelated to whether anyone will ever hire you.
| Metric | Why it's the one that matters |
|---|---|
| DMs started | The only real conversion event. Every CTA in this calendar drives here on purpose. |
| Saves and shares | Saves mean useful; shares mean trusted. Both predict reach far better than likes. |
| Profile → contact taps | Intent to actually reach you, as opposed to intent to keep scrolling. |
| Conversations that became appointments | Tracked by hand. Nothing in any platform's analytics will tell you this, and it's the number the whole system exists to move. |
Review monthly, not weekly. Social compounds slowly and weekly numbers are noise — you'll talk yourself out of a working strategy by reading it too often.
